What color of highlights should I use for my hair?

Hi. I have dark black hair, dark brown eyes and white skin. It is not tanned. I would like to experiment and highlight my hair. What color should I go with? Would partially blonde look good? Or maybe better caramel or another color? I do not want it too look too fake. What color of highlights should I use for my hair?
to be honest, putting in any kind of blonde, i think, would look a bit funky.





since you said you have dark black hair, i would suggest the caramel brown. staying with a brown would be the best bet.

Hi. I was reading your question and I was thinking that you should go wtih caramel. It'll blend better than the blonde. I have dark brown hair and brown eyes too and i have caramel highlights and it looks nice.
a light auburn, No blond, not on black hair.
