What color highlights should I get for dark brown hair?

It depends whether you want the natural look or the funky look. If you want natural like a red tint would look really nice but also natural. Or you could get a lighter brown. Nothing looks worse when someone has dark hair color and they get it striped with bleach blonde looking highlights. That wouldn't look good especially when it would start to grow out.

I actually think like a dark hot pink...it turns out nicer then it sounds but I saw this girl had dark hot pink and dark brown hair..it was gorgeous :) I dont think it's very ';emo'; or anything if that's not what your going for.

A golden coppery color. Ask your stylist for natural looking hightlights that can brighten up your look without looking streaky. She/he should know exactly what color to give you ^-^
If you want to stay normal, you could get some light colors, i.e. blonde or caramel. If you want to go ';wild'; you can get pink or green or some other random color.
light brown (a dark/dirty blonde) looks best i think.





i have dark brown hair and got highlights, reddish orange and dirty blonde.
I have dark brown hair and I got caramel highlights that I really liked or just a light brown. It depends how dark of brown you have I guess.
Dirty Blonde to Platinum Blonde.
definately copper they are like golden and can actually look quite natural

you should get either carmel or light brown i would do none though try and keep your hair healthy
you should get bright red highlights. it would look really good with dark brown hair.
