I just colored my hair, can I still get highlights?

I colored my hair using nice 'n easy just last night and this morning I was thinking that I wanted to go get highlights done. Would there be a problem since I just made my hair darker? I mean, should I expect that the stylist might say they can't do it for that specific reason?I just colored my hair, can I still get highlights?
I am a professional cosmetologist and in my opinion I would wait untill the color molecules have had a chance to fade-out(week at the most.) You really all want to do this if it is black as night or in the ';chocolate'; family of brown- I would def. wait! If your Nice N Easy base color is light brown- to dark blonde, you can color asap :) No matter what SEE A PRO ;)I just colored my hair, can I still get highlights?
You can absolutely get highlights done anytime as long as your hair isn't bleached underneath that nice n easy. You are best to go to a professional for this. Have fun!
you can still get highlights but i would definitely let a professional do it
