What color blonde should I dye/highlight my hair?

I was colorprinted to be in the blue/red skin family. I just got my hair highlighted a yellowish blonde, and it makes my face look really ruddy. I have dark brown hair naturally, and light eyebrows.What color blonde should I dye/highlight my hair?

I knew this girl who went to my school who had really dark hair and got blonde highlights. She looked so bad everyone made fun of her until she dyed it again.


I suggest 2-3 shades lighter than your original haircolor that way you don't look ';ruddy'; or maybe the shade of your eyebrows.

Really light brown. That would look soo good, and if you really want to do blonde then you can but make it a dirty blonde..But light brown would look better.

I wouldn't die your hair. I had the same problem until about a week ago. I have really dark blonde hair, almost brown and my highlights came out almost bleach white. Go for some blonde highlights that are somewhere inbetween brown and golden, so that your hair evens out some. If it comes down to it, cut your hair in layers. This year, you can curl your hair in a Farra Facet due away from your face, and your hair will just highlight your face all together.
