What color should i dye my hair? & what color highlights ? =) [ pictures included. ]?

I want to dye my hair a lighter brown, but not to light, and i want to add some pretty highlights. =) My roots are showing, and my natural hair is a medium brown i guess, lol. I was thinking of doing THIN dirty blonde highlights, or different shades of brown? what do you think? %26amp; what shade of brown do you think i should dye my hair? pictures would be amazing, aha. oh, i'm also cutting my hair up to my shoulders, and getting extentions. =)

leave it the same color dont do blond!
