What color highlights should i dye my hair?

i have relaxed my hair now for approximately 2 yrs now and since then it has been black long and straight. it's never been colored and i think now is the perfect time to experiment with it i need help knowing what color highlights should i get? oh and i have african american skin tone so basically i have dark skin. someone help me. thank youWhat color highlights should i dye my hair?

blonde doesn't compliment african-american features at all

I dunno i think blue or purple looks really good in darker hair but red highlights would be cool too. Mayeb green?? or bright yellow??
I always like the magenta shade for darker hair and skin tone. It comes out a nice red.
Do layers, and dye it black with red highlights!
