My hair is naturally dark brown I only had the top highlighted I would like to get a med brown look with still being able to see the hightlights just not so drastic! I was wondering if I could apply a med or light brown to it without really screwing up.I had my hair highlighted yesterday too blonde! I would like to tone it down can I put a color over it?
Yea, but use a natural color (no-ammonia) because you just had it colored. I know how it feels, did you go to a salon to get it? Maybe you could try talking to the stylist to see if she can fix it for you.I had my hair highlighted yesterday too blonde! I would like to tone it down can I put a color over it?
well, you can put color over it i would tone it w/ a med blonde w/ a shampoo cap. if you use a med brown their rly isnt gonna be enough of a contrast to see a difference. so go for a demi permanent med blonde. shampoo ur hair but dont make it too sudsy? lol foamy lathered w.e..%26amp; then put the color on for a couple minutes. unless ujus wanna go for a perm color %26amp; apply it regular. it jus takes less time w/ a shampoo cap. if urgonna purchase color @ wal-mart.idk what to tell u cuz i dunno if they have demi permanent their i nvr rly checked it out
If you do that the blonde will probably turn greenish and your dark brown will turn orangy. Just go back and ask them to tone it using Matrix Color Sync 8G. Will turn out perfect!
Can't see why not use a very light brown shade so you can still see the hilights a little bit
i think that if you put too much on, your hair will end up a funny color, so i don't see why not, as long as you be VERY careful!!!!!!!
