What would I use to change the color of my hair after I just got highlights?

My mom put highlights in my hair on Saturday, and it doesn't look as good as I thought it would. I have natural brownish-red hair and I have caramel highlights. I just want to dye it back, with no trace of highlights. What would I use to not damage my hair for this transition?

Use any drugstore hair color. Clairol Natural Instincts is good because it works like a toner, toning and blending with the rest of your hair without lightening. The highlighted parts of your hair will be slightly lighter, but you want a multidimensional effect.
