I would appreciate info if anyone knows why they recommend different highlighting kits depending on the colour/shade of your hair. I want to do blonde highlights on my hair but my hair colour is in between light brown and medium brown so I don't know whether to go with a kit for lighter hair or darker and whether there will be a different effect on my hair depending on the kit I choose. I bought a Revlon Frost and Glow blonde highlighting kit but I don't know whether to use it. Are there more chemicals in the darker kits because it takes more to lighten darker hair? (That's just a guess, and I would like to know the real answer) Thanks!Do highlighting kits work diff for blonde vs brown hair? Why do they recommend diff kits for diff hair colors?
The lighter kit will make your highlights lighter.. the darker one will not be as light..
